in Year 2 we love to work together and create an environment where we can learn new skills, try our best and not be afraid to get things wrong. P.E. is a perfect opportunity to build everyday skills such as team work, negotiation, co-ordination, concentrate, listening and speaking as well as many others. We love P.E. and taking part in competitive sports. It is important to learn that it is not always about the winning but the taking part that counts and achieving our own personal goals.
We would like to share some of our P.E. experiences with you!

Sports Relief 2016
Friday 18th March our school took part in Sports Relief. We arrived in school wearing our sports gear ready for the day's activities. Every class had time on the field to complete as many mïles as they could in 45minutes (running, jogging, walking or any other way!), time on the playground taking part in a variety of activities such as: the snug assault course, gym, netball shooting, cups and domes and agility. We also had time in the hall. Year 2 played handball and then ended the day with a bit of yoga! All the children and staff thoroughally enjoyed the day. It was lovely to see all children take art in new challenges and work together as a team.
They should be incredibly proud of themselves!!
